Magnetic Interconnects Optimized for Precision Blind-Mating and High-Cycle Stability in Wearable and Portable Systems
ATTEND, a leading provider of advanced connectivity solutions, expands its magnetic interconnect portfolio with new IP67 waterproof pogo pin connectors and magnetic USB cables designed for high-cycle operation, blind-mating convenience, and outdoor-ready reliability. The new additions include IP67-rated 2-pin and 4-pin magnetic pogo pin connectors, along with USB-A to magnetic pogo pin cables, offering greater flexibility for wearable devices, modular handheld terminals, and portable industrial electronics.
Traditional connectors often struggle with wear, misalignment, and mechanical stress during frequent docking. The new magnetic pogo pin models address these issues through self-aligning magnets, gold-plated spring contacts, and reinforced housings built for vibration and outdoor exposure. The break-away design further reduces the risk of connector damage in daily use.
